Snowboarding 101

Intro
I can only assume that you are reading now, because you've decided to try snowboarding. Congratulations, you are already on the right foot. As with any activity that creates a danger, it is always very important to understand what you are getting at. Before you rush to buy your own board, there are a few things you should know about.

Style
Determine your style is the most important aspect of buying a snowboard. If your board is notcorrespond to your style, your experience less than stellar. There are basically two types of snowboarding, that the beginner should consider.

Snowboarding Tips: Before You Hit the Slopes

Snowboarding at Winter Park Resort - Come and Ride the Trees

Winter Park Resort is equally great for skiers and snowboarders. Fantastic trees, the most snow of any destination resort in Colorado, a cool new village and a convenient location from all major ski resorts in Colorado.

Trees, trees, trees - in addition to powder, not that the reason for snowboarding? Now, Winter Park Resort has some really amazing trees. The new Panoramic Express, the largest six-pack lift in North America, takes you to the top of the Parsenn Bowl, the experiencefinest gladed and ungladed (natural) trees in Colorado. Head to the top of Mary Jane and you can experience the winter solace topher's trees. Really perfect skiing tree can be taken into account in the infrastructure.

Powder, powder and dust - if there are no trees, it must be the snow, and lots of it, that makes snowboarding so much fun. So here in the grandest of all Grand Counties Winter Park Resort average over 350 inches of fluffy white stuff every year. Last year a total of nearly30 centimeters above the average topping to 378 inches of snow. You can not find a better, consistent snow in Colorado.

Winter Park just opened a cool new base village last ski season, now has three new restaurants and a few new stores. Lime is a great place to get a margarita and a burrito after a hard day on the slopes. The Cheeky Monk You can have the best Belgian beers and some of the best fries and mussels around. At Goody's make it an ice cream and crepesfor the children.

And finally, what Winter Park Resort is best for snowboarders, as the resort is close and convenient to Denver International Airport. From the airport you can take to the slopes in 2.5 hours. It is a 67 miles drive from Denver to Winter Park. and you do not have to deal with the Eisenhower Tunnel traffic.
