The Orchid's sleek silhouette provides the backcountry traveler with exceptional comfort and load control. This pack is designed specifically for women and it is ideally suited for climbing or backpack trips. FEATURES Include: Top access with separate sleeping bag compartment access, top lid contains a clear map/valuables pocket, key clip and converts into a lumbar pack, pass-thru tent pole sleeves, Internal sleeping bag divider, interior hydration reservoir sleeve with dual exit ports, side and bottom compression, ice axe and daisy chain loops, top climbing rope compression strap and dual water bottle pockets.

This member of Mountainsmith's All-Terrain series is a bit more sleek and agile, and is perfect for a vertical ascent, yet has the same versatility as the other packs in this line and can be used for more relaxing outdoor activities as well. The body of the pack is constructed of tough, weather-tested 420d Velocity nylon with 840d Ballistic fabric reinforcements to keep fastener attachments and other stress-points from fraying. Designed especially for women, features include a detachable lid that converts into a lumbar daypack, a sleeping bag compartment and quick release compression straps hardware for your pad, two water bottle pockets, and two hydration pack exit ports. Made with a double thick foam waist belt and shoulder straps, the internal support system has two aluminum stays with a molded back panel. For climbing, there are compression straps on top of the pack for ropes, two ice axe loops with shaft retention tuck straps, and mounts for your trekking poles.
